Feedback and Future Plans November 20, 2009 4 Comments
The first 6 months of actual beta testing has wrangled in a lot of good(constructive) feedback. There are many new features that have been requested, the biggest demand was exhibited for a “tasks” feature. The Tasks feature was initially included in the scope of the project, but it was removed due to time line constraints. The tasks feature will enable users to track their time for given projects, which will in turn add functionality that is obviously missing from an otherwise whole project management system.
I’ve decided that Projtrack will be released as a service, via the projtrack.net domain. This means that if you want to use Projtrack for your company, you would be able to access the system via Projtrack servers at a unique URL. I haven’t decided which we will use, either “projtrack.net/companyname” or “companyname.projtrack.net”. Ideally the service will be free until a release that is stable and deemed worthy of the dollar comes out.
Projtrack Beta Officially Launched! June 23, 2009 4 Comments
I’ve just completed work on the beta version of Projtrack. After a month or so of alpha testing, and many bug fixes in between, I’m finally ready to unleash Projtrack on the public. Or should that be the other way around… Either way feel free to login as a manager(admin/admin) or a developer(matt/matt) at http://beta.projtrack.net. Feedback can be sent to me via the contact form on this site or by email, matt @ cognition-media.com.
